Holi-festival of colors

Holi is an Indian spring festival also known as the "festival of colours" or the "festival of love". This festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh together. It is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Its celebrated in the month of Phalgun starting on the evening of the Purnima (Full Moon day).It is celebrated by playing with colors and sharing sweets and happiness among each other.
