KRUXFest

KRUXFest is a 20+ year tradition that has been on a two year hiatus due to COVID and COVID protocols. However, we intend to bring back this three day mini music festival to the student body and the larger Las Cruces community. In doing so, we intend to work with local bands and artists from the Las Cruces and El Paso area as well as partnering with local venues for these events. We are attempting to work with a different location every night to change up "the vibe" of each show. In working with these local venues we also are going to be strengthening our relationships within the community. Each night will host 4+ acts, with day/night 3 hosting over 7+ acts - this means each event will be 3+ hours, including set up and tear down times. Each act will have about 20-45 minutes to preform with 5-10 minutes in between for additional set up.  The market with vendors will be starting at 4:00 and the music will begin at 5:30.

Night 2 (April 15) we will be setting up at the Intramural field on Locust. We will be setting up a stage for the performers there and decorating with balloons again. The stage will be sourced form the campus vendor for stages.
