Description

NeSA, Nepalese Student Association, is one of the most active student organizations in the
New Mexico State University (NMSU) since its establishment in 2006. NeSA has enthusiastic
members dedicated to bringing cultural diversity at NMSU by organizing and participating in
different programs regarding multiculturalism within and outside NMSU. Few of these to include
are the International Conference, Interaction Programs, Big Event, Keep State Great, Cultural
Bazaar, and community services taking place around Las Cruces.
As a widely active student body, NeSA believes that fostering diversity contributes
substantially to the betterment of NMSU and Las Cruces community. To promote cultural
diversity, NeSA not only participates in cultural programs, but also coordinates different programs
inviting experts and general people from different places, universities, and countries. Despite the
financial shortcomings, NeSA has been organizing many cultural programs at the University as
well as in the Las Cruces community since its inception.
This time we are coming with a Movie Night, first time in NeSA history. The movie night will
hold, here in NMSU theater (CMI Theater 171). The movie will be a typical Nepali movie
casting Nepali culture and featuring Nepal with English subtitle. It would help the Nepalese
graduate students and all NMSU students to bring together and provide a social platform after
this covid era. As well as we are promoting Nepali culture via movie.
