The Big Event 2024

The Big Event is an annual off-campus community service project that allows students to say thank you to the community of Las Cruces for all they do for New Mexico State. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff commit their time to beautify the City of Las Cruces. The Big Event takes place in the spring. Registration Packets for the Big Event will be downloadable on Crimson Connection.

Anyone who is a student or employee of NMSU can participate. You can sign up with a group of friends, an organization, or as an individual to be paired with other individuals.

All organizations that wish to participate in the event need to have their own transportation available the morning of the event (Carpooling with members of your organization is recommended). Directions to the job site will be provided at Check In.
