Women In Technology DACC is an organization dedicated to empowering women to succeed in the field of technology.
Together we can build, empower and inspire.
Our Mission:
Advance women in technology from the classroom to the boardroom by providing advocacy, leadership development, networking, mentoring, and technology education.
Our Vision:
Women in Technology is a DACC student club empowering women to become architects of the future in the technology industry.
The purpose of the organization shall be to encourage and support female students to pursue education, training and employment in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with emphasis of computer technology as a key component of success in these fields. In accordance with the purpose of all student organizations as stated in the Student Handbook, this organization provides the student the opportunity to become involved with extracurricular activities; to interact with the educational and business communities to facilitate the transition from school to the work environment; and to enhance the student's education by encouraging professionalism, leadership, and academic excellence.
