Delta Gamma Fraternity
About
Eta Lambda Chapter at New Mexico State UniversityMembership in Delta Gamma brings with it countless memories and experiences which will shape its members for years to come. The Eta Lambda chapter of Delta Gamma was founded at NMSU in 2004 by bright, enthusiastic young women who were excited to be part of something new. The women of Delta Gamma concentrate on friendship, loyalty, honor, personal integrity, responsibility, and scholastic improvement while sharing amazing sisterhood experience and everlasting memories. DG's live by these ideals in over 146 collegiate chapters across the U.S. and Canada. Today, Delta Gamma collegians nationwide host our annual event, Anchor Splash, where students of various organizations compete in swimming events. NMSU Delta Gammas raise money each year to benefit our international philanthropy, Service for Sight, through Anchor Splash, Anchor Slam, and Dessert with DG. We also provide educational programs on the importance of eyesight at local elementary schools, volunteer and work hands on with the School for the Blind in Alamagordo, New Mexico, and share experiences with senior citizens through our Golden Anchor Program. Delta Gammas have a full and exciting social calendar to look forward to each semester. We have a wonderful time with a variety of social events including formals, date functions, socials with different fraternities, sisterhood events, and retreats. It is at these events where memories are created with our sisters that will never be forgotten. Through legacy and loyalty, Delta Gamma continues to grow, achieve, thrive and succeed. We are rich in heritage and tradition and our Delta Gamma pride empowers us to forever "do good".
