About
Education Abroad & National Student ExchangeEducation Abroad and National Student Exchange, located in the Office of International Affairs, currently offers more than 100 programs in over 35 countries and within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. International destinations include programs in Canada, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Africa and the Middle East. Education Abroad programs are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Students can earn academic credit toward their degree by participating in an exchange, intensive language, faculty led international programs (FLIP), undergraduate research, internship, international student teaching program, or a virtual international experience. With a National Student Exchange program, NMSU undergraduate students will have the opportunity to spend a semester or academic year at an institution in the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canada, while still paying NMSU tuition. Our advisors work with a specific regional portfolio and can help students evaluate program options in order to meet their academic, professional, and personal goals. Advisors can answer specific questions and guide students throughout the process of applying and preparing to participate in one of our programs. Where will you go next?
