Black Student Association

Black Students Association is a student body whose objectives are:

1. To unite students of African-American and Caribbean descent on NMSU Campus.

2. To serve as a link to the greater black community at NMSU and surrounding areas.

3. To increase awareness and appreciation for black issues through educational, cultural, social and programming.

4. To work as a unified force towards enhancing the conditions and environment for black students on campus.

5. To serve as a support network for African American Students.

6. To seek cooperation with other student organizations at NMSU and community organizations in order to form good relations.

7. To encourage diversity and individuality within the organization.
